Performance Options
Protectors
Solid protection
Solid silicone Protectors maintain continuous maximum hearing protection (approx. 26-30 dB).
Protectors Pro
Filtered for Speech
Made of the same high quality, comfortable silicone, our Protectors Pro series are designed specifically for industrial applications. They employ an acoustic filter which protects you from intense high frequency noise while allowing for clearer communication.
Different work environments have different sound levels. In some situations, it’s safer to allow for better communication and work area awareness while still protecting your hearing to the appropriate level. Unlike standard industrial earplugs that can overly dampen sound, our filters avoid muffling speech and sounds.
Industrial noises tend to be louder at higher frequencies. Our DI filters are designed to evenly minimize low-frequency noise—aiding in clear communication—and progressively increase noise reduction at around 4kHz to protect against harmful high-frequency sounds.
The DI Filter ensures a continuous airflow into your ear. This ventilation feature minimizes the sensation of sound being trapped or ‘occluded’, reducing irritation within the ear canal and enhancing your comfort.
We also offer filters with the option of being metal detectable and X-ray visible, an ideal feature for environments like food processing and pharmaceutical manufacturing where foreign object contamination cannot be tolerated.
As an electrician, wearing Protectors earplugs has been a game-changer for me. They’re way more comfortable and provide better noise-blocking compared to the foam ones they have on site.
