Hearing Aids in British Columbia

Vancouver Custom Earplugs now offers hearing aids – specifically a self-managed, over-the-counter (OTC) option for adults in British Columbia, backed by a licensed B.C. Hearing Instrument Practitioner.

If you have mild-to-moderate hearing difficulty and want a lower-cost way to help yourself without a full clinic program, you’re in the right place.

In short: we offer Health Canada–licensed OTC hearing aids that you set up yourself, with optional local help — not diagnostic hearing tests or traditional full-service fitting.

What we offer and what we don’t

What we offer. Health Canada–licensed OTC hearing aids (the Warbler Series 7), which you set up and control yourself, plus optional in-person onboarding and an ear-health check if you’d like a hand getting started.

What we don’t offer. We’re not a full-service hearing clinic. We don’t provide diagnostic hearing tests or traditional professional fitting and programming. These are hearing aids you manage yourself. We’re here to make that easy, not to enrol you in a clinic program.

If your needs go beyond OTC. If it turns out your hearing loss is more complex or an OTC device isn’t the right fit, we’ll tell you honestly and point you toward appropriate clinical care.
